Retrieve file metadata by id

Request

Returns the metadata of a file with the given identifier without transferring its content. The response has no body; metadata is conveyed in response headers:

  • Content-Type - media type of the stored file (e.g. application/pdf)
  • Content-Length - size of the file content in bytes
  • X-Hy-Filename - URL-encoded filename, present only if provided during upload

Responses

File exists. Headers describe the file; the Content-Type header holds the media type of the stored file. No response body is returned.

If a filename was provided during the file upload via the X-Hy-Filename request header, it will be returned in this header.
